Will Starfield will get a PS5 release after all?

Rumours of a Starfield PS5 release were coming thick and fast, and then Xbox head Phil Spencer announced there'd be a special event to discuss the 'future of Xbox'.

Suddenly, a Starfield PS5 release sounds way more likely.

What do you think? Is Microsoft about to take its games multiplatform?

Starfield PS5 - well you suggested it.

I don't see why not. Expand the fanbase. Exclusives are useful for console launches or updates to shift new hardware but when the platform's mature why not?

It's official: Xbox exclusives are coming to Switch and PS5

They've gone on the record to say that Starfield won't be one of the four Xbox games going multiplatform, but stopped short of saying it won't happen in the future.
